Lim Ruger is pleased to announce that Danielle O’Sullivan has joined the firm as of June 1st as a senior counsel. Ms. O’Sullivan is a seasoned trial lawyer, having tried 29 jury trials during her 10 year career with Paul Hastings and the LA County Public Defender’s Office. She also served as an adjunct professor of appellate advocacy and public interest law practice at Loyola Law School. With her proven track record as an excellent trial attorney, she will add to the firm’s already deep and strong trial team.
Ms. O’Sullivan received her J.D. from Loyola Law School. She has since served as a coach of Loyola Law School’s National Moot Court Team and volunteered for the Constitutional Rights Foundation Mock Trial Competition. She comes to the firm with a demonstrated commitment to the core values of Lim Ruger, having volunteered with Public Counsel where she supervised a group of attorneys who represented parents in adoption proceedings. Ms. O’Sullivan has a bachelor’s degree from Boston College.
Lim Ruger’s trial team also welcomes David Yang into its ranks as a senior litigation associate. Mr. Yang will focus on complex commercial litigation with his 7 years of litigation experience. Mr. Yang’s trial experience includes a recent jury trial where he helped defeat a $7 million breach of fiduciary duty claim against a majority shareholder. He has extensive experience in handling professional liability litigation matters.
Mr. Yang received his J.D. from Loyola Law School and his bachelor’s degree from UCLA. He currently serves as the Secretary of the Korean American Bar Association of Southern California, where he demonstrates his commitment to the community and leadership in the legal profession.
The combined trial and litigation experience of Ms. O’Sullivan and Mr. Yang will serve to boost Lim Ruger’s growing trial practice.
